Things To Do in Atlanta in November

Can you believe it’s already November? The year is flying by! There is some good news that comes with that though. The holidays are approaching and there's so many fun things to do in Atlanta this month, from fall festivals to specialty holiday shopping. So no matter how you like to celebrate the season, make the most of it by participating in some of these fun Atlanta activities!


Chastain Park Fall Arts Festival


The Fall Arts Festival is returning to Chastain Park on November 5 and 6 for a weekend full of fun! The award-winning festival will feature tons of painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft artisans, glass blowers, jewelers and more. Plus, event goers will have the option to enjoy the children’s area, view demonstrations, listen to live music, participate in activities and try a variety of food trucks and vendors.


Decatur Wine Festival

Enjoy wines from around the world at the Decatur Wine Festival! There will be over 400 types of wine, food from local Decatur restaurants, and a live DJ. Additionally, you can donate $20 to the Decatur Arts Alliance and draw a number for a corresponding bottle in the wall-of-wine!


Spirits and Mixology Workshop


In partnership with Diptyque and Thompson Buckhead, Buckhead Village presents the Spirits and Mixology Workshop centered around seasonal fragrances and thoughtfully-crafted cocktails. The Head of Beverage at Thompson Buckhead, Thandi Walton, will teach you how to craft the perfect cocktail, inspired by the fragrances of Diptyque on November 9 at 6:30p.


Garden Lights, Holiday Nights

Starting on November 12, the Atlanta Botanical Garden will transform for the holiday season and bring back Garden Lights, Holiday Nights. Crowd-favorites, such as Nature’s Wonders and the transformation of the ‘Earth Goddess’ into the ‘Ice Goddess’, will return for this spectacular lighting display.


Holiday Shopping Spectacular


Visit the Georgia Freight Depot on November 12 and 13 for the Holiday Shopping Spectacular! Shop for unique gifts from crafters, artists, makers and vintage vendors while getting in the holiday spirit and meeting local Atlanta creators.

Home for the Holidays

Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles presents the 2022 Home for the Holidays showhouse! Starting on November 17, you can tour this beautiful new construction home, which is a collaboration between Harrison Design and KBD Development & Construction. The interior features tons of high end designers, while the landscape was carefully curated by Floralis Garden Design.


Georgia Festival of Trees

The Georgia Festival of Trees is returning to the Georgia World Congress Center on November 19 and will last until November 27. Presented by Atlanta Gas Light, this festival features dazzling Christmas trees, live music and entertainment, kid’s activities, gift shops featuring local vendors, food and more! All proceeds from the trees and events will benefit Wellspring Living.


Piedmont Holiday Gift Market


Buckhead Village is hosting the German American Cultural Foundation’s 2022 Christkindl German Market, opening on November 25! This holiday market will have over fifty vendors, offering food and beverages and plenty of shopping. If you go on a weekend, there will also be live music and entertainment.


Flower Magazine Showhouse

Flower Magazine is unveiling their first multi-designer showhouse November 4 through 27! The 2022 showhouse is a classic, Regency-style home designed by Atlanta-based architects Peter Block & Associates and featuring fabulous designers. On November 4, there will be an Opening Day Party, with tours being offered until the 27. Get your tickets now!


Concerts


November brings another month of great music to Atlanta! Here’s a list of some of the biggest shows happening this month: ATLive starring Chris Stapleton (November 12), The 1975 (November 12), Paramore (November 15), Manchester Orchestra’s The Stuffing (November 18), and DaBaby (November 17).
